Peru participates in the 22nd Conference of State Parties to the Convention of Chemical Weapons
The Permanent Representative of Peru to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), Ambassador Carlos Herrera, addressed his speech today at the Twenty-Second Conference of States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention. On this occasion he reiterated Peru's commitment to the objectives of the organization and reaffirmed his condemnation of the use of chemical weapons by any agent and under any circumstances. He also highlighted the importance of cooperation through technology transfer to strengthen the national capacities of the states parties in the chemical field, among others matters.
