Sucessful culmination of the First Peruvian Gastronomic Festival in The Netherlands

Close to five hundred people attended the First Peruvian Gastronomic Festival that took place in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the city of The Hague between the 18th and the 21th of May, with the sponsorship of the Embassy of Peru in the Netherlands. During the four days of duration of the festival the attendees could taste a varied buffet menu and Pisco cocktails, as well as appreciate a selection of Peruvian fresh products such as chilies, potatoes and emblematic fruits like cherimoya and lucuma.

Previously, the chef Carlos Pardo-Figueroa, professor and adviser to the faculty of Gastronomy of the University San Ignacio de Loyola, did a lecture about Peruvian food and a culinary demonstration for the teachers and students of the Hotelschool The Hague, considered as one of the five best Schools of Hotel Management in the world.
