The Embassy of Peru in The Netherlands participated at the ‘’Diplomat Food Festival’’, which took place the 21st of May at the superstore Hanos in Delft, organized by this company and the association Diplomat Magazine.
Around 15 other embassies in The Hague participated in this event which offered the opportunity to demonstrate the culinary traditions of each country to the suppliers and consumers of this superstore but as well to the diplomatic corps and other authorities.
The Embassy of Peru offered various Peruvian snacks and coordinated the participation of six companies which import Peruvian products, including Pisco. Besides that, various promotional materials were distributed to the attendees of the event.
Furthermore, the chef of the Embassy, Alberto Lara, offered a master class where he taught three ways to prepare Ceviche, namely the traditional, mixed and ‘’Nikkei’’ way.
Hanos is one of the most important food selling chains in the Netherlands and is even expanding itself gradually in the whole country. At the moment Hanos has establishments in more than twenty cities.
