About the Embassy of Peru in the Kingdom of the Netherlands
The Embassy of Peru in the Kingdom of the Netherlands is the entity in charge of the representation of Peru in the Dutch State, as well as of the promotion of a friendly relationship between both countries which share the same values reflected on numerous cooperation initiatives; a convergent participation at International Forums; and a constant high-level dialogue. Furthermore, it promotes the negotiation of several bilateral agreements, to promote Peru in The Netherlands, and to inform the Peruvian State on the development of the bilateral relations.
Also, the Embassy is responsible for the Permanent Representation of Peru to the International Organizations based at The Hague, such as the International Court of Justice, Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the Hague Conference on Private International Law, and the Common Fund for Commodities.
The Embassy on Peru in The Netherlands collaborates jointly with the Peruvian Commercial Office in Rotterdam, as per the sponsorship of business activities, and the Office of the Defense Attaché in Paris, France, which is concurrent with the Netherlands in these matters.
